The video begins and we see the Seattle skyline out the window behind where Zoe Sperling is standing in front of the camera. The city behind her is very clearly Seattle and we can see the unmistakable sight of the Space Needle in the background even in the darkness outside the window in the evening. Focusing back on the former two-time SCW World Heavyweight Champion however and she’s dressed in a black shirt with a winged heart logo on the front with an S built in to it. She has the t-shirt cut up however, revealing quite a bit of cleavage and her midriff. We can also see she’s dressed in jeans, but we can’t see anything in the shot below her waist. She grabs a Seahawks baseball cap off the counter before showing it to the camera and smirking.

“Well, its Tuesday night and we’re in Seattle, Washington, a city very much celebrating championships at the moment,” she said before looking at the baseball cap and tossing it aside. “What happened on Sunday may have been a completely one-sided massacre but what happened a week ago in Portland was anything but one-sided as Supreme Championship Wrestling presented its first ever ‘War of the Roses’ event, an event full of controversy. Now that seems like a company line, doesn’t it? It seems like something they want us all to talk about, some way to hype up the pay per view and get some sales after the fact, or get everyone super hyped up for the DVD release. That’s not what I’m here to do however. I’m not toeing the company line on this occasion, but for once the company line and me do actually agree on a lot because last Sunday in Portland WAS one of the most controversial nights that Supreme Championship Wrestling has had in a long time. We saw the dissolution of another set of tag team champions as Shaun Cruze showed the world that he is and will remain the ‘uncrowned champion’ when he turned on Greg Cherry, costing himself the SCW World Tag Team Championships in the process. And our new SCW World Tag Team Champions are the Cashmere Mafia, a team consisting of Dawn Lohan and the woman with arguably the biggest ego on the whole roster in Kennedy Street. Congratulations to them. Congratulations to our new World Tag Team Champions, although from the rate that they’re arguing on social media lately it may not be the longest of championship reigns. Honestly, what happened to the old days? What happened to teamwork? What happened to being committed to your partner through thick and through thin? As I said on Twitter lately, maybe that was just Dark Fantasy. Maybe there really aren’t any other teams who are in it for the long haul and in it for the team.”

She shrugs her shoulders and lets out a sigh. “Whatever though, am I right? Those titles may no longer be around the waist of Ravyn Taylor or myself but I’m getting really tired of watching all the so-called ‘teams’ who’ve come along after us and how they all seem more interested in fighting each other than their opponents. But Dark Fantasy is gone for now, and I guess it’s time that I accept that things have to change, just like I have to accept sitting back and watching the World Heavyweight Championship match at War of the Roses and all the controversy surrounding that match. Silas Mason got involved and saved the championship, and Shaun Cruze remains the ‘uncrowned champion’. Hey, I’m actually part of the reason that he’s never been crowned before as well. But that whole situation, coming out of War of the Roses with the World Heavyweight Championship situation ending in such controversy, shocked the world as well. But what also shocked the world was my former boyfriend and his tag team partner being destroyed by Rachel Frost and Rachel Foxx as Requiem went to town on the Next Level and sent both men to the hospital after the match. A hell of a brawl, a seriously fucked up situation, and more VIOLENCE from the Coalition, who’ve made such a good job of making sure that all of us know just how violent they can be,” she says before smirking at the camera. “They’re not the only ones though, are they? Because guess what? Syren caused a little controversy of her own on Sunday night when I took on Aiken Frost.  That was the match that he was going to dominate, right? That was when I was going to be put in my place. That was the match that the whole world was going to see the end of Syren... except they didn’t. I didn’t go down on Sunday night, in fact I rose up!”

“I told the world before the pay per view on Sunday on Twitter that it was time that we all united together to fight against evil and that’s exactly what we did inside that ring. Inside the Moda Center on Sunday night eighteen thousand people got together and they told the world collectively that they were done putting up with Aiken Frost and his bullshit. And for weeks and weeks Aiken has done everything he can to make me a victim. He and his freak wife have made it their mission not just to spill my blood but apparently they wanted to drain it from me as well, presumably so they could bathe in it or some other weird, twisted, sick bullshit that only those two are capable of. Well, on Sunday Aiken got his chance to get my blood, and I’ll give him credit he got a little of it. The fact is that I went in to that match knowing that he was going to be tough. I’ve seen him, I know what he can do, I know just how dangerous men like him can be and I knew when I walked out in front of those people on Sunday that it was going to be a fight, but a fight is EXACTLY what he got,” she says determinedly and proudly. “You tried to make me a victim Aiken, just like you and your Coalition have done to so many others. You wanted to add my name to the list of those you’ve sent out of this company, the list of those you’ve put on the injured reserve, the list of those who’ve never been seen again after what the Coalition did to them, but what you found on Sunday wasn’t a little blonde victim waiting to happen. What you found on Sunday was a FIGHTER! And on Sunday, out of my element in a brawl, I proved to the world that I don’t call myself the Best Female Wrestler in the World because it looks amazing on t-shirts – which it does, by the way – but I call myself the Best Female Wrestler in the world for one reason, BECAUSE I AM THE BEST FEMALE WRESTLER IN THE WORLD!”

“On Sunday we fought against evil, on Sunday we fought against everyone who’s ever tried to make us in to victims, and on Sunday it was ME who walked away from the ring with my head held high. But what happened on Sunday was just the beginning because moments after the match was over I was informed by the guys in the back that Mr D, or the Board of Directors, or whoever it was has officially signed the match that I wanted. So at Retribution it’s now going to be Syren one on one with Rachel Frost, and at Retribution I’m going to get my payback. Everything she’s done to me, everything she’s put me through, I’m going to pay her back for. And until then Rachel I know I’ll be seeing you around. Until then I know that I’ll be seeing plenty of you, probably with your Plexiglas, probably with your teammate, probably with your husband, probably with your noose and I know what’s going to happen between now and then. I’ve been dealing with your bullshit for long enough. I’ve been dealing with ALL of it for long enough, but let me make you a promise. Let me look right in to this camera right now and make you a promise that I swear on my life I’m going to uphold. At Retribution, whether I win or whether I lose, I’m going to make damn sure that you don’t leave that ring the same way you walked in. I’m not interested in the attacks before the match. I’m not interested in the mind games. I’m not interested in jumping you from behind or beating you down with a chair. My focus isn’t hurting you, my focus is making sure that you’re fit, you’re healthy, you’re one hundred percent at Retribution because we’re going to END this between us once and for all at Retribution Rachel, and when it’s over I know you’re going to hurt me, I fully expect that I won’t walk away from this match under my own power, but I swear to you that if I’m going down, I’m making damn sure that I take you with me. Do you hear me? I’m not doing this on Twitter. I’m not hiding behind a keyboard. I’m recording this promo just so I can tell you right here and right now that at Retribution I know it’s going to be war and I know that once again I’m out of my element, but bitch I PROMISE that when it’s over you’ll understand why I am the best in that ring.”

She pauses for a moment before laughing and nodding her head slowly. “Being the best isn’t something I take lightly, but that’s not what that whole thing is about. It’s never been about what that whole thing is about. We’re not fighting to see which one of us is the best; we’re fighting because we just don’t like each other. But tomorrow night couldn’t be more different. Tomorrow night it isn’t about hatred. Tomorrow night it isn’t about violence and anger and bloodshed, tomorrow night it’s about what I do better than anyone and that’s WRESTLING, and not just wrestling either because tomorrow night is about the Trios Tournament 2014,” she says with a complete change in attitude and a huge smile on her face. “That’s right baby, the Trios Tournament is back once again and this time it’s being done very differently. In 2011 it was all about the weekly shows, two matches on one show and then the finals on the next one, and it was all about teamwork. That was the year that three members of the Infamous – Christy Matthews, Lucas Knight and Syren, now all former World Heavyweight Champions I’d like to add – teamed up to take on all the competition, and it was an amazing experience for me. I got to team with one of the greatest tag teams of our generation; two people who despite our differences since I still greatly respect, and the three of us did the impossible and we conquered the Trios Tournament. A year later, in December 2012 and January 2013, I found myself in the Trios Tournament once again, this time teaming with random partners in the form of Brittany Lohan and Gable Winchester, and even though Brit and I couldn’t stand to actually stand on the apron together we proved that opposites really do work well together when we beat the odds and I made another little bit of history by becoming the first competitor to win two Trios Tournaments back to back. That’s what I do. I make history! So, here we are in 2014, and what’s changed?”

She looks down at herself and then back up at the camera and smiles. “Well, I’m still making history, but this year the Trios Tournament has a whole new look to it. We’re not competing on Breakdown this time around, instead we’re fighting on a Supreme Saturday special edition, and it’s not just any old random teams but this time there are teams featuring two pre-determined stars and one who has to fight they way on to the team, and what do you know I find myself having to earn a spot in the tournament. Now a lot of people in my situation might be standing here right now telling you how unfair that is, how I deserve better than that, how I’ve won one before and I should be given preferential treatment and blah, blah, blah, but if you’ve been listening to what I’ve been saying lately then you know that I’m not so much of a fan of the preferential treatment. I mean sure, it would be nice to be appreciated, but just because I find myself in this spot doesn’t mean I’m going to throw my toys out of the pram like others have done. We’ve already had two withdrawals from the tournament and it hasn’t even started yet! So, this isn’t going to be number three, this isn’t going to be Syren standing here demanding a free ride because you know what? Nothing in life is free, and when it IS free it ruins the fun. I’m willing to FIGHT for my spot in this tournament, and that’s what I’m going to do tomorrow night when I step foot in to the ring against Ghost. The two of us are going to go tomorrow night, because there’s only room for one of us and I fully intend that one to be me,” she says with another smile. “I want in on this tournament. I know what it means, I know the odds are against me and hell, I even know the team I’d be joining. But I’ve done this before and to me the chance to win the Trios Tournament is a lot more than just the contract, it’s once again another chance to steal the show and once again another chance to make history!”

“That’s what I do,” she says with a smile. “And the team I’m fighting to join is going to be just as dysfunctional as the team I was in last year. On one hand you’ve got the Skullkeeper, the man of mystery and the man who’s well and truly deep inside Thirteen’s head. On the other hand you’ve got the newest Supreme Champion and the new United States Champion, Jake Starr. Everybody knows my history with Jake. The last time we were forced to be tag team partners Jake hit me with a steel chair, if I remember correctly. Although I’m not sure he’ll remember quite so clearly, given that when the night was over I was the one standing after I gave him the Total Makeover he so richly deserved for his time as my tag team partner. And that’s the teammate I’m fighting for a chance to work with. I actually have to compete for a chance to team with JAKE STARR of all people, and once again this could be the point that I threw my toys out of the pram and I said that I wasn’t doing it, that I wasn’t going to team with Jake, but the thing about that is that I want this. I WANT to team with Jake Starr. I WANT to deal with the most dysfunctional of possible teams. I want this not only because Jake is on something of a roll at the moment with the United States Championship and I’m feeling DAMN good about my 2014 after putting together a string of wins for the first time in what feels like forever, but I want this because I want to prove I can work with ANYONE! I don’t need friends, I don’t need allies, I don’t even need people I like because Jake and I don’t like each other, but we ARE two of the best who’ve EVER been a part of this company and with Skullkeeper as well it’s a team that has a lot of potential. It’s a team that could just go all the way, and I could walk out with my THIRD consecutive Trios Tournament win. And then what? What do I do with the golden ticket that lets me do whatever I want? The answer to that one is so very simple – I prove to the world once again that I am the best!”

“That’s what I’m fighting for. That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to book my own ticket, I’m not holding out my hand and demanding anything, I’m not going on Twitter and whining non-stop about how it should be mine, or claiming to be an Uncrowned Champion while pandering for people to tell me on social media if they love me or not, instead I’m knuckling down and I’m FIGHTING my way back to what I want more than anything in the world, and the Trios Tournament is my chance at that. The Trios Tournament is my chance to put the disappointments I suffered in the latter half of 2013 behind me forever! And all I’ve got to do to get there is... beat a Ghost,” she says before smirking. “It would seem impossible based on that comment alone, but when you consider the fact that the man who calls himself ‘Ghost’ really does seem to have a lot of ghostly elements to him then you see this won’t be a walk in the park. Who is The Ghost? Nobody knows. He’s a man of mystery, a mysterious figure we’ve only seen in the ring one time, but one thing we do know about this man of mystery is that he IS a man. Now I don’t mean that as some sexist thing, but I mean that for all the size this guy has, for all the power he’s got, for all the ability he has to potentially break me in to two different pieces on Breakdown, especially given the war I just went through with Aiken and the fact that I’m going to be looking over my shoulder, the man they call ‘Ghost’ is just a man, and just like any other man in this company that means he’s not unbeatable but at six foot five inches tall and two hundred and sixty pounds there’s no doubt that he’s a physical specimen and one I’ll be the first to admit that I know nothing about. So, how can I possibly hope to win this? How can I hope to get a shot at the Trios Tournament given the odds seem stacked against me? It’s simple – I’m gonna win!”

“I can’t tell you how it’s going to happen, I can’t tell you what moves I’ll use or when the opportunity will come my way and I can guarantee you that it won’t just be a case of facing off against some unknown rookie, but I am going to win this,” she says determinedly. “I’m not taking anything away from you Ghost. I’m not the kind of person who stands here and talks down to people like you because you’ve not held ninety five championships in this business and because I think I’m so much higher and mightier than you because I know I’m not. I don’t know how many belts you’ve held, I don’t know the opponents you’ve faced, but you’re a part of Supreme Championship Wrestling and just being on that roster means you’re amongst the best in the business but make no mistake about it you’re not just facing any little girl this Wednesday, you’re facing a fired up Syren who’s going to do whatever she has to in order to get what she wants. Tomorrow night you’re going to walk out in to the KeyArena right here in Seattle and the lights are going to be on bright, sixteen thousand fans are going to be there cheering and it’s going to be tough. I’m in there against an unknown entity but you’re in that ring against the female who’s proven time and again why she is the best in the world today. So you’re a brawler, you’re a grappler, you’re a technical master in that ring or one of those rare individuals who possesses both incredible power and amazing agility, I don’t know for certain and we’ll find that out tomorrow night but you’re up against the girl who shows up first to every event, the girl who goes home last, the girl who steps in to that ring and gives EVERYTHING she has and the girl who tomorrow night is going to go out there to fight, to win and to steal another show! You know my deal. You know who I am. You know what I do. I’m under a whole lot of pressure right now and I have a hell of a date ahead of me at Retribution, but I also know tomorrow night I will stand tall in that ring, like so many more you sweetie, you will JUST BE JEALOUS!”

She steps forward, kissing the camera before winking at it and with that the video comes to an end and the replay button pops up on to the screen.
