The video begins and we see the SCW World Heavyweight Championship sitting on a bed as the camera focuses in on it. There’s a giggle from behind the camera and the camera spins around to show it’s in the hands of the SCW World Champion, Syren. She’s wearing a Cleveland Brown’s hat and has a smirk on her face. “Hey guys, welcome to Cleveland,” she says with a grin before taking off the hat and shrugging her shoulders. “It’s not been too many times recently that people have wanted to associate themselves with the Cleveland Browns, is it? But just recently — including their comeback win over the Buccaneers this past weekend — that’s starting to change and Brown’s fans are experiencing a pretty awesome season so far. Ok, so they’re only five and three, but in the last twenty-four hours I’ve met a lot of Browns fans and there hasn’t been many who’ve had much to complain about. The Browns are defying expectation this season, they’re accomplishing what a lot of people thought they couldn’t accomplish, and as a result of that I kind of have something of a soft spot in my heart for them right now. I mean if anyone knows what it feels like to be told you’re not good enough, if anyone knows how it feels to be questioned at every turn, if anyone knows how it feels to surpass the expectations of everyone around them, to rise up, to fight back, to STAND TALL and to defy expectations then, well, I think it might just be me because right now, if you go with expectation, this video should have started out on an entirely different shot, shouldn’t it? Because, if you go with expectation, it should be Regan Street right now who’s your reigning SCW World Champion and Syren? Well, she should be back at the bottom.”

“I’d tell all the haters and the doubters that I’m sorry to disappoint them but I’ll be honest, I’m not sorry about it at all. I know I didn’t have the backing of too many people in the locker room — I mean duh, if you follow the SCW roster on Twitter then you know the sheer number of good luck wishes that were being given to Regan before our match from friends and enemies alike. You know that there was even a celebratory party planned. And Regan herself went so far as to say that if she couldn’t beat me then she didn’t deserve ever to be champion. Now personally I think that’s a bit over dramatic but whatever, it’s the way that everyone felt. The locker room was certain. They were all behind Regan. You’d think that would be a little intimidating and you’d be right, and maybe it would have gotten to me if it wasn’t for you guys, if it wasn’t for twenty-thousand SCW fans in Pittsburgh chanting my name and wanting to see the BEST possible main event,” she says with a huge smile on her face. “I don’t think we disappointed? Did we disappoint? I don’t think we did. I think the SCW fans flooded in to the Consol Energy Center wanting to see the number one contender face the World Heavyweight Champion, wanting a match that wasn't about how much outside interference there could be, wanting a match that wasn’t about Silas World or New Eden or anything else, they wanted to see a match between two of the best this company has, they wanted to see a match between two women who wanted to represent this company, two women who wanted to do things the right way, and that’s what they got. At Under Attack, Regan Street and Syren stole the show, just as promised, and in the end there was only one outcome…”

She pauses and grabs the SCW World Championship, holding it up for the camera to see again and smiling once more. “Under Attack was the single most personal night of my life. Under Attack was the single most important night of my career. That’s because at Under Attack my professional and personal lives collided in the most dramatic fashion and in a match that both of us knew we had to walk away from with the victory. And before Under Attack, the last time I was on camera with you guys, I bared my soul to you. I told you how much this title means to me, I told you how much this company means to me, I told you how important you guys are to me and how I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for you, but more than that I told you the truth about all the most painful parts of the last few years of my life. I told you about feeling inferior, feeling jealous, and being replaced professionally and personally,” she says before letting out a sigh. “That same weekend of Under Attack was the very same weekend that Regan Street and David Helms announced their engagement as well. Congratulations to them, and I’m a little bit sorry — but not really — for ruining the celebrations. It would have been perfect, right? Personal and professional lives culminating together like that? It wasn’t to be. And it was the kind of match where only one of us was going to leave with our head raised high and the other was leaving feeling broken and lost. Well, it’s my head raised high, and I’m very proud of that. I’m proud of overcoming that challenge. I’m proud of defeating one of the best in this company, one of the best in the world even. I’m proud of that and I’m just as proud to have survived Fatal Fortunes as well, even if my match there was marred in controversy.”

“Now at Fatal Fortunes something happened that could reshape this company. At Fatal Fortunes something happened that could undermine everything that we’ve tried to build. At Fatal Fortunes it seems New Eden took something that belongs to SCW, and every time before that’s happened that’s only spelled bad news for all of us,” she says before shaking her head. “Now people want to know why I chose the second night of Fatal Fortunes to come out to the ring to say what I said. They want to know why I stepped up, why I volunteered to help Mr D in every way I can — and I know, I said Mr D and not Mr Douche, I even surprised myself — and the answer to that is simple. Hell, I’ve already stated it once in this promo alone. It’s because I LOVE this company and I’m PROUD to represent it. Even at my worst, even as a part of the Infamous, I was always proud to represent this company. And if Mr D is looking for fresh blood, if Mr D is looking for someone to step up and take the fight to New Eden then I’ve been through hell with that group once before and I may have even had my ass kicked a few times but I never let them break me. It seems however that my presence may not have been required, that Mr D may have gotten his own man for the job, and that man is none other than Fury. But now the rumours are circulating and everyone wants to know if they’re true. Everyone wants to know if the rumours are true that there’s a challenge going out to New Eden on Breakdown and if it’s me who’s issuing it. Do you want to know? Well, let’s just say that if it’s me the challenge I have is a simple one: no backstage bullshit, no sneak attacks, no blood covered offices, no hacking video feeds, if you’ve got the guts stand in the middle of that ring and fight.”

“Now that’s not a new message, and it’s not the first time I’ve delivered it this year either. That’s the same message I gave to Rachel Frost when she attacked me with Plexiglas, when she attacked me in the back, when she tried to hurt my friends and when she thought she could do whatever she wanted. I told her to step up, to stand in the ring and fight and she may have pinned me in the end but I know as a fact she remembers that she was in a fight that night,” she says proudly. “It wasn’t just Rachel though, it’s the same message I gave to Shaun Cruze and all of Silas World when they tried to take me out. Jake Starr might have tried to jump them backstage, I just stood in the middle of the ring and told them to step up. You see I’m not afraid of a fight, even if I’m likely to get my butt kicked. I’m not afraid to step up and fight ANYONE when I have to. My message to anyone who’s got a problem with me is always the same, if you want me then I’m not hard to find, I’m the one standing dead centre of the ring representing everything that I believe in. The fact is as well that I believe in SCW. I believe in everything this company stands for. I believe in everything it represents. I believe in competition, in earning your spot, in being able to say without doubt and not through egos but because they’ve proven in front of tens of millions of SCW fans all around the world that this is the best damn company in the world with some of the best competitors in the world and we’re not going to let anyone ruin that.”

“You see I’m not afraid to step up, I’m not afraid to take on the biggest challenges, and tomorrow night I won’t be afraid when I step up again because tomorrow night I’m taking on a man who’s purposefully gone out of his way to stand against this company, to stand for nothing but his own agenda, and that man is Matt Auclair, the man who wants to get James Evans in the ring badly enough that he’d stand with evil if it means just getting his hands on him. But that’s not all, oh no, no, no, because Matt Auclair isn’t just standing with New Eden, he’s praising them and he’s claiming to be the one responsible for the roster getting together to agree to stop them all, because he’s the one who did what I couldn’t, he’s the one who did what so many others couldn’t, and took the Underground title off of the shoulder of Rachel Frost. And THAT deserves respect. And that’s something I’ve always given him as well. That’s something I’ve always been willing to give. When you step up, when you accomplish something that important, when you prove yourself in the middle of the ring then it doesn’t matter what background you come from, it doesn’t matter what training you have, it doesn’t even matter what chips you’ve got on your shoulder because when you prove yourself in the middle of the ring you deserve the respect that comes from that,” she says confidently. “And that’s what I’ve given you Matt. That’s what I’ve always given you. I took you on in that ring before, remember? You wanted to take that gold off of Rachel then. I was put in front of you. You gave me a hell of a match. Hell, you beat the hell out of me. You think I’ve forgotten that? You think that I’d disrespect you after that? Nuh-uh!”

“And I’m not alone in that either. Maybe it feels like I am, at times. Maybe it feels like there’s nobody around who really gets you. Maybe it feels like there are plenty out there who disrespect you. Well, there are. But this is professional wrestling Matt, if you’re looking for a bunch of guys to pat you on the back and praise everything you’ve done then you’re in the WRONG DAMN BUSINESS! Hell, look at me. I fought my way up the ladder three separate times, I’ve earned my way to the SCW World Championship three separate times, and yet do you know how much respect I get from those guys in the locker room? They tell me I’m not good enough. They tell me they’re better than me. Every single week it’s the same thing from somebody new, and yet every single week I step in to that ring and I prove them wrong. I don’t cry about it and sell out every time someone disrespects me. And yet that’s exactly what you’ve done,” she says, shaking her head in disappointment. “You think this is the solution? You think standing with New Eden is the solution? You think DISRESPECTING the SCW roster, and the current reigning SCW Underground Champion, is the way you’re going to get RESPECT from people? I listen to you and I struggle to believe what I’m actually hearing. A man who tells legends of the sport that their time is done, a man who threatens to end the careers of mothers just because he thinks he can, a man who tells reigning champions that they’re not good enough to be where they are, is the same man crying and whining and selling out to the dark side because people don’t show HIM respect? Are you joking? Like seriously, is that a joke?”

“You want respect, Matt? You’ve got it from me. You’ve earned it in that ring. You’ve beaten world class competitors like David Helms, Rachel Frost, James Evans and so many others who’ve stepped up to you. And you said it yourself, right? You don’t a wrestling background, you’re a brawler from the street and you think that that means you don’t get respect? No, it’s more of a reason to respect you. It’s more of a reason to respect everything you’ve done because you came from nothing, you came from nowhere and you’ve competed and beaten some of the best this company has ever seen. But Matt, as much as I respect the things you’ve done, as much as I’m in awe of the name you’ve made for yourself in the Underground division, do you want to know the reason that even those YOU seem to respect still put you through tables and why every single fan in every crowd around the world only wants to see you fail? It’s because of your attitude. I don’t exactly think you helped your case either when you knocked out your own partner at Under Attack. Something tells me Aiken Frost didn’t like that,” she says before rolling her eyes. “And as good as you are Matt that’s nowhere near as good as you THINK you are. That brings me back to the attitude. You walk around acting like you’re an unstoppable force, telling everyone who’ll listen that you’re UNBEATABLE one on one, right? Wrong. When you get that shot against James Evans, and you will, I hope he proves that to you then, but if you want further proof of that then I intend to deliver the same basic message to you on Breakdown.”

“There are only so many times you can disrespect the locker room before the locker room knocks you down to size. And there are only so many times I can stand by and listen to you telling the veterans of this business that they might as well hang up their boots before I want to step in that ring and show you you’re not as untouchable as you think you are. You see I’m one of those people you think have got this huge problem with you because of your style. You think all the ‘wrestlers’ don’t like you because you’re a ‘brawler’? Well, I’m a wrestler. The reason I don’t like you is because you’ve got your head wedged all the way up your own ass. And because of that clash of styles that makes this week all the more interesting, doesn’t it? Because this week I already know the threats are coming my way. This week I already know you’ll claim you’ll knock me out. And I know you’re going to try to do exactly that. You’re good enough that there’s even a strong possibility that you might succeed. But what if you don’t?” she asks with a smirk. “You’re bad-ass, right? The big bad Matt Auclair, the brawler from the streets who’ll take the fight to anyone around, but what happens this week if a little blonde girl takes the fight to the big bad-ass and beats me in the middle of the ring? If you get the win I’ll be told that my time is done, that you’re that much better than me, that you’re the baddest man on the planet and everyone else should bow down to you, but what if you don’t win, Matt? What then? I’ve already shown you respect, will I get the very same thing or will you only want to talk about Matt Auclair once again?”

“You’ve got this great ability Matt, you’ve got the ability to piss off everyone around you. But that’s the way you like it, right? It’s Matt Auclair versus the world. It’s Matt Auclair’s path of destruction. It’s Matt Auclair and Ryan Moss wanting to see the company in ruins just because they can, right? Yah, and you’re upset because Autumn Valentine called you generic?” she asks before rolling her eyes again. “You want to see this company burn Matt then you go through me, because while you may be willing to turn your back on it and believe that you’re bigger and badder than SCW, that you’re above SCW, that you deserve everything that SCW has without giving ANYTHING back in return, I don’t. You’re not bigger than this company. You’re not bigger than SCW. This week it’s brawler against wrestler. This week it’s the knockout king trying to knock out the current reigning World Champion. This week it’s the toughest of the tough against the little girl blonde girl who’s never met a challenge she hasn’t risen to and tried to overcome. You’re going to be a hell of a challenge as well Matt, I know that already, but this week I’m going to take everything you can throw at me and I’m going to keep coming back for more because while you stand for nothing but Matt Auclair I stand for something so much more. And Matt? As good as you are, this week when you’re hoping to watch the world burn around you once again I’m hoping you’ll instead get to watch something else. You’ll get to watch the SCW World Heavyweight Champion showing why she is the Best Female Wrestler in the World and Second To No Man! As good as you are, I’m hoping I can show you that I’m better. And if I do then instead of watching the company crumble you can just watch on and JUST BE JEALOUS!”

She puts the SCW World Championship over her shoulder before looking at the belt and then smiling at the camera again. With that image the video ends and the replay button flashes up on the screen.
