The video begins and we see the familiar sight of the bedroom of Zoe Sperling. The camera focuses on the bed where we see in the middle of the bed the woman herself sits. She looks up at the camera after a moment and lets out a little sigh. “You know I've been trying to think for a while how I wanted to start this video,” she admits with a look of uncertainty on her face. For a moment she pauses as if she’s uncertain what to say next before she looks away from the camera again. When she looks back to it again there’s a renewed confidence in her eyes. “I was trying to decide whether I'd turn the camera on and I'd be defiant, or whether I'd start filming and I'd just act like it was just another match against just another opponent, but the more I sat there thinking about it the more confused and uncertain I got. I wanted to give the right impression, you know? Then I spoke to Alexander and he told me the best thing that I could do was to do what I've done for the past year, and that's turn the camera on and be honest, so that's what I'm going to do. It's been a long time since I felt the need to lie to you guys about anything. You guys have been there through the thick and the thin, through the good times and the bad, and you honestly don't know how much that means to me. So right now I figure maybe Alexander is right, maybe I do need to be honest with all of you about exactly how I feel.”

She takes a deep breath. “So, you want to know what's going on in my head? I've seen the tweets. I've seen the support. I appreciate every single one, even if I wasn't exactly in the right frame of mind to reply. I know that there are some of you out there who imagine I'm a mess. I know there are some of you out there laughing, thinking that this was the end, thinking that it's all over now, just like there was a whole army of doubters after Rise to Greatness 2013 who told the world that my career was all but over because Shilo Valiant was the better competitor,” she shakes before shaking her head. “Well back then I did get depressed, I let all of that into my head, I let the hatred and the doubt bring me down, but I'm not the same person I was in 2013 and this situation is far from the same. At Rise to Greatness 2013 Shilo took everything I had and still beat me. It took me a year to climb back up that ladder and get back to where I was. At Retribution 2015 there was no 'better competitor' than me. At Retribution 2015 I lost the World title not to the better wrestler but to a stripper with FOUR people helping her. And after I lost before it took me a whole year to get back to the top and I had to prove to the world over and over again that I wasn't done, that my career wasn't dead, that I had what it took to stand at the top. This time around I have nothing to prove, but I do have a bitch's ass to kick!”

She nods her head and smirks at the camera, clearly not saying it out of anger but more with confidence. “For two and a half weeks people asked for a response from me after what happened. Last week on Breakdown the entire world saw my response when last week on Breakdown I dropped the 'champion' on her face! This week I'm intending to do the exact same goddamn thing again because I did the patient thing last time around, I stepped aside, I tried to do what I thought was best for my lying, cheating, sell-out then-boyfriend, but this time around I'm doing what's best for ME,” she says with a fire and determination in her tone and in her eyes as she looks at the camera confidently.  “There's no standing aside. There's no giving others a chance. I spent two hundred and twenty four days – a new record, for all those who said that I wasn't good enough before – giving opportunities to EVERYONE who stepped up, and you know what? Now it's my turn! I try not to make bold promises too often because I'm not an idiot, I know how hard it is to get anything in this business, but I am going to make you all a promise right here, right now and that promise is that soon – very goddamn soon – you’re going to be able to tell the world you saw Syren kick a bitch's ass and become a FOUR TIME SCW World Champion!”

“So, when's it going to happen? I'd love to give you a time and a date. I'd love nothing more than to tell you exactly where and when I take my title back, but unfortunately I can't do that. I can't do that because while I have a rematch clause – and if it were up to me that rematch would have been last week in front of the world in Richmond or at the latest this week in Indianapolis – we all know that it's not just about a rematch clause, don't we? It's not as simple as just demanding the match, there's hoops to be jumped through, there's a Board of Directors to get authority from, and while the last two times I lost that title I had to overcome Tactical Warfare and the Trios Tournament to get my shot this time around I'm not waiting in line, I'm not standing idly by, and I'm damn sure not stepping aside. This time around I'm making a statement,” she says proudly. “For the last few months I've been jumped from behind, I've been assaulted by lackeys and I've been insulted by SCW's version of Kim Kardashian. But I tried to do the right thing. I tried to rise above it all. I did what champions do, and it took her and four others to take that belt from me. It'll only take ME to take it back! So every time she’s in that ring telling the world how fantastic she is she better be ready to see how it feels to be the hunted. And every time she's in the back whining and bitching like the spoiled little bitch she is she better be looking over her shoulder because I tried to rise above before, and this time I'm taking her down!”

“Mr D, I know you're listening, and you should know something about me by now. Since the moment I walked in that door, since the moment I first met with talent relations and they put in front of me my very first SCW contract, I've been about one thing: proving without doubt that I am the Best Female Wrestler in the World and that I am Second To No Man! Whatever you've asked of me over the past year I've done, whether that was fighting up-and-comers, whether that was defending my title on back to back shows, or even standing up for this company, fighting for this company and making sure that the entire world knows that when you push us, we push back harder. Well, now I'm pushing back again, and I know you're listening and I need you to know that I'm coming for that title,” she warns enthusiastically. “You can give me my rematch and I’ll take it back or you can put a thousand roadblocks in my way and I'll knock them ALL out of the way, it doesn't matter who is it! At Retribution it took sidekicks, managers and even a COMMENTATOR to SCREW ME out of the SCW World Championship and I get that you're you, I get that you're going to do absolutely NOTHING about that, but you should know by now that I AM! Oh, and you might want to keep Shawn Winters at that announce desk all night in Wednesday because the next time I'm within five feet of Jonathan Knots I'm going to do what the entire SCW fan base has been wanting to do for a very long time! I figure it’s only fair to warn you.”

“Now this is the part where someone tries to remind the world that this week isn't about the World title, that the champion isn't even in action – no surprise there, right? I guess this week isn't one of her four scheduled matches for 2015 – but they're wrong, because until that title is back where it belongs then EVERY WEEK is about the World title,” she says with even more determination. “This week however I am in action, actually competing in the ring, just another thing that sets me apart, and this week I get the ultimate opportunity to work out a whole lot of stress. This week I get to step into the ring with another former champion, a long-time rival and a man who has his own issues with our new title-holder. Now I know how it works. Jake Starr thinks he should be next. Jake Starr thinks he should be champion. Jake Starr thinks it should have been him who was competing at Retribution. And Jake Starr plans to run his mouth about that to anyone who'll listen. He jumps on Twitter and tweets about it, while telling everyone else to 'come back when you've done something'. But see the problem is that it isn't 2010 anymore and this business is not about what you've done but what you've done lately, and just lately all Jake has done is disappoint.”

“Harsh? Maybe. But fair? Definitely,” she says sternly. “Do you want to know one thing I find funny about Jake's current attitude problem? It all could have been so different for him. He's bitter at the world for not giving him what he thinks he deserves, right? So to show how much he deserves it he has his nephew following him around, he's jumping people whenever he can, and he's trying to get back into title consideration by swinging a steel chair and hurting everyone in his way. But all he actually needed to do was the same thing that William Mason did, the same thing that Shaun Cruze did, and that was ask! The world knows that Jake and me have a long history but there's one thing that's guaranteed in all that time and that's that every time we're in the ring together we bring out the best in each other. There was even a time not too long ago that I thought maybe we'd mended some fences, while everyone else was running their mouths about him I was one of very, very few – hell I might have been the only one on the roster – willing to stick up for him. And the crazy part about his anger and his rage is that all he had to do was ASK and I'd have happily stepped up to ANOTHER challenge and we could have put on another match they'd still be talking about in five years time, just like our first one. But he didn't do that. He didn't step up. He didn't show that he's a man; he showed he's a pathetic little boy.”

“We've been on the same page before. We stood side by side against Requiem and beat them together. We fought through every team in the Trios Tournament last year and beat them together. In the months leading up to the biggest night in either of our careers last year we stood side by side again as Shaun Cruze and Silas World tried to take us both out and end our careers. Yet despite that I was willing to give SHAUN a rematch, right? But Jake didn't think I'd do the same thing for him? Apparently not! After everything we've been through I thought even if we were far from the best of friends that we at least had some form of mutual respect, but last week Jake charged the ring with steel chair in hand and we both had the same goal in mind again, until he tried to add me to the list of those he's attacked with that chair,” she says, clearly angry about the attempted sneak attack. “Now I was struggling to consider him much of a man to start off with after everything he's done lately, but last week he showed me that he's not just a bitter little child lashing out at those who disrespect him, he's a cowardly little bitch who's reduced himself to doing to others what Silas World tried to do to the two of us. Why fight your way to the top when you can just maim and injure everyone else in your way until you're the only one left, right? Why prove you DESERVE to be at the top when you can make sure you're the only person eligible! You know Jake, even at my very, very worst when the entire world, including you, criticised everything I did I was still nowhere near as bad as you are today.”

She shakes her head slowly. “No, wait, calling you 'bad' just doesn't do it justice. I mean I know a little something about 'bad', right? Look who I travel with. Look who I team with. Yah, I know plenty when it comes to 'bad' and what you are Jake isn't bad, it's PATHETIC,” she says with fire again in her voice. “You know that I’ve spent eight months RISING ABOVE all the bullshit, I’ve spent eight RISING ABOVE all the cheapness in this business, I’ve spent eight months being the kind of champion that this company DESERVES and fighting against the likes of Aiken Frost and New Eden who thought they could do whatever they wanted, thought they could hurt anyone they wanted, and showing them that they had people to answer to. I thought you were back to doing the same thing, Jake. I saw you fighting against Silas Mason. I saw you bringing the fight to Silas World. I genuinely respected you as well. I thought for sure that you finally got it, that you knew what it meant to represent the company, that you knew what it meant to actually STAND for something, and then I saw with my own eyes what you really are. Like I said, you’ve got Thoren Holt running backup for you, you’ve apparently got Brandon Evans helping you jump whoever you want to jump, and you’re going to tell me that you need them, right? You’re not doing anything wrong, right? You’re just evening the playing field, right?”

She shakes her head slowly and sternly. “You know it genuinely saddens me that you’re no better than they are,” she says softly. “I know I said this already, I need to say it again. We stood against them. We stood side by side and we made each other a promise that we’d have each other’s backs. It was the two of us watching out for each other, doing it on our own, fighting against the odds to prove ourselves to the world and show the world how much it all meant to us. I thought we had a moment. I thought we had an understanding. But look at you now. The last Social Misfit, right? Is that the excuse you give yourself when you look in the mirror? You’re no better than they are, Jake. You don’t get it. You’ve never learned. You’ve been in this business a lot longer than I have, you’ve been in this company longer than I have, you’re a Supreme Champion, one of the most accomplished wrestlers on the roster, a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee one day just like you always wanted to be for your accomplishments alone, but in spite of all of that, in spite of everything you’ve done, you’re still a COWARD who tries to hurt those in front of him rather than BEATING them, you’re still a BITCH who needs to bring along an army to do what you CAN’T DO ALONE! Do you have any idea how it feels for me to say that, Jake? Because I remember a time when you stood tall above everyone else and you did it on your terms.”

She shakes her head in disappointment. “I guess when you take a look around SCW right now you’ll try to justify it all, right? You’ll tell me that Kennedy doesn’t do it on her own because she’s got her own little army. You’ll tell me that there isn’t anyone associated with Silas Mason who understands how to do anything on their own; they’ve all got that group behind them. You’ll point at New Eden and say they don’t work alone either. Maybe that’s how you’ll justify it. Maybe that’s what you tell yourself. Maybe you’ve even got yourself convinced. Well I’m not. Now while I may not be the most popular girl in the locker room I do have friends there, friends like Ravyn Taylor, friends like Autumn Valentine, friends like Tommy Valentine, and yet last week when I headed out to that ring with a giant bitch at ringside and everyone else all gathered around do you know who I brought with me?” she asks, smirking before shaking her head. “Yah, I didn’t bring an ‘equaliser’. I didn’t bring an army. I didn’t go to ANYONE and ask for their help. Last week on Breakdown I went to get myself some ON MY OWN and I could have fought off every single one of them if I had to in order to get to what I wanted to do, and that was drop that bitch on her face. Well I did that. I sent her scurrying. And I didn’t need anyone’s help but my own.”

“You want to tell me what could have happened? Sure if your two lackeys hadn’t been distracting the big guy then maybe I wouldn’t have had my shot. Or maybe I would have gone THROUGH him to get my shot! Because that’s what I’m going to do, Jake! I’m going to fight off the WORLD if I have to in order to get back what they STOLE from me. No ‘chairee’, no lackeys, no bullshit sneak attacks, hell I WANT that bitch to know I’m coming for her because when I drop her on her face yet again I want her to know who did it and I want her to know that there isn’t a damn thing she can do to stop it,” she says with the same unbridled passion in her voice. “I’m going after her ON MY OWN and this week I’m heading out to that ring to fight you ON MY OWN as well. Now you can think that makes me weak. You can think that gives you the advantage. I know for damn sure that you won’t hesitate to screw me in any way you can if it means you get the win, you’ve done it before while claiming to be the bigger man and the hero, so why wouldn’t you do it again? You can bring that chair Jake, you can bring Thoren, you can bring Brandon, hell I’m sure there’s even a commentator past or present that you can get on your side as well if you want one so why don’t you go find them and bring them as well, and when the match starts you’ll have everything you need and I’ll be standing in that ring ALONE with everything I need!”

“This week it’s not about respect between long-term adversaries. This week it’s not about competition amongst world-class competitors. This week it’s not about putting on the best performance I can put on and stealing the show. I’m going to do that anyway, make no mistake about it, but that’s not what it’s about,” she says before smirking. “This week it’s about one thing and that’s proving to you, proving to Mr D, proving to the Board of Directors, proving to Kennedy Kardashian and proving to the ENTIRE WORLD that not only am I not dead and buried, but I’m more fired up than I’ve EVER been. So you do what you need to do this week Jake. I’ve known you a long time. I know what you’re capable of. We’ve been through wars against one another and wars side by side. There is nobody on the active roster who knows you as well as I know you, Jake, and that includes your former friends in the Social Misfits. I know how good you can be, I know the fire you bring, I know the passion you’ve got, but I also know this week I’m leaving you lying in that ring not with a chair shot but with a TOTAL MAKEOVER and I’m making my statement and I’m staking my claim to my rematch and there is nothing in this world, no individual and no army, that’s going to stop me. So to everyone out there who thinks that Syren is old news, to everyone who thinks that Syren is done, to everyone who thinks that I’m dead and buried I invite you to watch this Wednesday night when I STAND TALL in that ring and you, Jake, and everyone else who doubts me can watch on and JUST BE JEALOUS!”

She nods determinedly to the camera before the video fades out and comes to an end with the replay button flashing up on the screen.
